A Poem For Athena

My lovely friend from Greece, Athena.

My lovely friend from Greece, Athena.

My lovely rose,

In the garden where you grow,

Look up,

I’m many diamonds in the sky,

I am the twinkle in the night,

I am the stars and the moon,

The light upon the dark.

I am the many raindrops,

That brings upon a morning dew.

I am that soft breeze,

I’ll whisper to you of love.

I am the wind that blows,

Gentle and caring in caress,

I am that golden ray of sun,

I am warmth on a cold day.

I am the rainbow, the hue,

I’ll paint a smile upon your face.

I am what you feel I am.

I shall never leave you.

Because of you,

I am complete,

I am fulfilled.

I am what the Lord made me,

Just for you.
